I see many issues taking place in this matter which are disturbing. First issue, the use of a national news outlet to promote anti religious discontent among society. The act in which propagates that a funeral must be observed in a traditional manor, and that protests are frowned upon outside of political matters. The second issue is the fathers obvious issue with (Pride), a sin that has taken many men to their doom. The third issue, no where in the Bible is it shown that a funeral must be observed, or that the dead must be respected, or honored, though it is a traditional custom. Jesus never went to the tomb of Lazarus to observe his death, and give respect to him. He went there to raise the dead, and give honor to God. Jesus never gave respect to the dead, but life to those who would accept him. It is unwarranted for this new anchor on FOX NEWS to blatantly attack a group based on their religious affiliations, just because it does not coincide with her own. I would not involve myself in such issues as this, but it is time to stand up against Corporate influence, and Media control over public perception, and social ideals. This issue could be seen as a form of harassment, or a coalition of Christians who see a good man dying in sin because of the gay perspective associated with this matter. In any matter, the right to assemble must be enforced.
