I see people trying to hide their sins from others through lie after lie, while bringing condemnation on themselves from the Lord. It reminds me of the the story of a man who was after Gods heart, David. David committed sin from his roof top. Then he had the woman brought into his house and committed sin with her. He then brought her husband from the battle and tried to get him lay with his wife to cover up the result of his first two sins. When the man refused to go along with him, he had him put on the front line of battle and as a result he was killed. David had then caused the death of another committing yet another sin. Folks, trying to hide our sins, through lies and deceit only makes your life more miserable. One lie told to a single person grows as you have to tell lies to others to cover the truth and the first lie you tell. The solution is this. Stop sinning because it is your choice to sin. Whatever your choice of sin is, remember the wages of sin is death. You want your life to get better and to have a joy beyond understanding, a peace beyond understanding and experience grace beyond understanding then you must stop your selfish living, give up your self righteousness and stop lieing to your self and others. Bottom line is Jesus knows the truth, is the truth and when you are truly saved the truth lives in you. When the truth lives in you it will be spoken through you, lived through you and shared with others through you. You dont make your light that Jesus put in you shine you simply let it shine.... Jesus, speaks from where He dwells.
