I see post on a daily basic containing people complaining about the shipping and process of horses. First off instead of complaining on FB go to a horse farm or sale barn and see first hand what the horse industry is all about. Second go buy some so you can see that yes u might buy a cute little horsey for a couple hundred bucks however they just like dogs grow UP. They might be cheap to purchase but feed bills, vet bills, farrier bills, and all other bills add up very quickly!!! Second is that everyone continues to breed them so therefore the USA is over populated with horses ! The people of the USA had the processing plants shut down so yes horses are being shipped every day and I blame the horse activist!!! If we had plants closer they wouldnt be stuck on trucks for hours and holding pens for days ! It would bring back the market on horses ! Unfortunately there are not enough people willing to care and house horses the way they deserve, so why make them suffer even more by shipping starving and abuse ??? Rant over thank you :)
