Mark Koberg Mark Koberg Bio Summary Mark Koberg produced and developed syndicated and cable shows for 16 years. “The Jenny Jones Show,” King World’s “The Ananda Lewis Show,” Tribunes syndicated strip “Beyond with James Van Praagh,” and SoapNet’s two-time Emmy-nominated chat show “Soap Talk.” In April of 2003, Mark landed a producing deal with FOXLAB where he developed and produced pilots. While at Fox, Mark served as Director of Programming. He took pitches, developed in-house ideas, met talent and established relationships with agents and managers. He also oversaw “Divorce Court” and launched Judge Alex,” which was 2005’s highest-rated new syndicated show. In 2006, Mark supervised the pilot and startup of 20th TVs third court show Cristina’s Court,” which went on to win three daytime Emmys. Additionally, Mark took on a role with FOXs MyNetwork TV where he served as a current executive on several specials and series. In the fall of 2007, 20th asked Mark to take over as the Executive Producer of “Divorce Court.” He produced episodes that garnered national press for the first time in the show’s run. 20th TV also assigned Mark to executive produce various pilots including one for Jesse Ventura. Mark created and developed a talk show spin-off of Divorce Court called Wedlock or Deadlock for 20th TV. Wedlock aired nationally in 2009 as a 30-episode test on FOX. In 2011, Mark left 20th to executive produce the US version of the UKs #1 daytime talk show The Jeremy Kyle Show,” which is produced by ITV Studios. Most recently, Mark served as co- executive producer of Iyanla, Fix My Life on OWN. Currently, Mark is in Los Angeles, developing and pitching programming for cable and syndication.
