I see that Sen. Rand Paul (R, KY) thinks that gay marriage will lead to beastiality - which is STILL legal in KY (which of course leads to speculation about not who, but WHAT, was Rand Pauls father) - - And then I find: If science proves some belief of Buddhism wrong, then Buddhism will have to change - His Holiness the Dalai Lama. - - Guess which one Im going with. If you could spend an hour in conversation with any living person, who would you choose? One could do far worse than the Dalai Lama - who actually has some understanding of science, and also a sense of humor, neither of which can be found in far too many of our elected representatives. It is sad that the democratic process has devolved to those with the most power and money appealing to those with the least education, and perhaps intelligence. Why do disadvantaged people keep voting for Republicans, who clearly do not have the public welfare as a priority? Curiouser and curiouser, said Alice. Here Endeth The Epistle!
