I see that Winsted has the Circus coming to town on July 28. Its got to be 15-20 years since Lester Prairie has had a circus in town. Is our annual summer celebration all thats left to promote our community? At one time Lester Prairie and Winsted had nearly identical populations. Winsted now has 600 more residents... without a public K-12 school... and much more industry. Perhaps someone can explain why this is happening.
