I see there is a 9th minute protest against Ally. I agree with it and i will explain why 1. Ally as a player. He is a genuine legend, that will never ever be removed from him. The longer he stays though, the longer it will take for us to forget how horrific a manager he is and forgive him for putting us through the awful football we are suffering 2. We dont do walking away Ally was talking as a Rangers fan there, not as the Rangers manager or player. Naturally thick people and the haters wont, or refuse to see that statement for what it is. It wouldnt have mattered if Ally was nothing to do with Rangers now and was still in the media, he would have still have said the same thing. We dont do walking away came from his heart as a bona fide Rangers football club supporter. Not a player or the manager. Dont ever forget that. 3. He is on a massive wage with a good squad of players at hand with great training facilities that every other manager in Scotland would bite your hand off for. Are we as the life and soul of the club that love it unconditionally from birth to death getting value for money, or football we deserve from our manager? No we are not, not by a long shot. So protesting (with respect) is the right thing to do. Sadly there WILL be people singing Super Ally tomorrow which Ally will selectively hear instead of any protest which will make him think we think everything is A-Ok. hes already said in the media that he still has the support of the fan Madness!!! 4. Ally saved Rangers Im going to place a huge elephant in the room now. Ally has actually backed every single owner/Spiv that has come into that boardroom since Craig Whyte from the off. Hes still doing it to this day. He is protecting that huge wage packet hes on which if figures are to be believed is 800,000 pounds a year. Even if it was half that it would still be way too much for a club with such financial problems that we do. So to me, in reality, Ally has been part of the problem even at boardroom level. Can you imagine he had resigned two years ago and came onside with the fans?!?!?!?! He would have united us better than any of the various fan groups and RSCs could have. He could have hosted meetings in hotels (he would have had more than enough wealthy Rangers fans pay for expenses at these kind of things) galvanizing the support and calling the Spivs out. His contacts at Rangers and the media would have put ten times the pressure on the boardroom that we could ever do or have. 5. Rangers fans as a whole. We have always been fickle, thats the way we are. And you know why we are? its because we expect the very best of conduct from our boardroom and good football and class from our team on the pitch. We are getting neither right now and havent done for years. This board right now are bomb proof, sadly, they are here to stay and have a brass neck that is nuclear proof. Ultimately all we want to see is those 11 lads on the pitch in that Rangers Blue shirt give it all for us. The man that makes them do that is the manager. He has failed to provide entertainment and set up a youth system for the future, he has given big wages to players that shouldnt ever grace a Rangers shirt never mind get the huge wage they are on. Ally is to blame, no one else. I dont buy the crap about off field stuff effecting the team. its up to Ally and his coaching team to work with the players on the training field and put a good entertaining team on the pitch.Hes failed, and failed badly. And dont tell me hes won the leagues what else is he supposed to do? That is naive and stupid. We are playing guys off a week of nights or postmen. With the resources available to the Rangers manager these last three years, if we are playing good football winning the league and beating teams well was a forgone conclusion. I could rant on but wont as the chances are you havent even read this far :D I support a respectful protest aimed at Ally today, and i say that with a heavy heart as he is one of my heros too. |Franky
