I see things in black & white, all-or-nothing. And the way I see it, you can be overly open, or overly private. If youre overly private whenever someone finds out about a mistake you made it just devastates you. And you spend a lot of energy trying to keep up appearances and hide things from people you dont trust. When youre on the other end of the scale, you tell everyone everything and then they have nothing to spread rumors or gossip about. People who dont like you are just repeating the same stories you openly tell people yourself. Theres probably a downside Im not seeing. But I prefer being a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type person.
