I see this all over the internet and I see it as a childish approach to deal with the horrors of what we have been witnessing lately. Just because these kids are smiling while enemies are still out there does not solve the problem. We are not even sure who is responsible for not tackling these problems on time. We are just reactive. There is this sad song with the pictures of brutally murdered kids and we cry. Then there is this light music with smiling faces and we feel we have won once again. However, after some days we will forget the story and no one would bother paying attention to the post trauma effect these kids will have to suffer from. Im not sure why it is so easy for everyone to believe in the illusion of winning, which is probably being spread out to keep our morale high while the reality on the other hand is very dark. We are not even ready to assess whats actually happening and whos responsible for this chaos. There are Shia killings, blasphemy laws, kids dying in Thar and innocent soldiers and cops being killed due to a blind approach we all have adopted comfortably. Whats up with the IDPs is a different story but we feel content with these happy videos thinking we have somehow magically won the war without having executed any plan of action or reforming the social structure.
