I seen a little girl being very naughty today down at the shopping centre. The mother I heard warned her twice before she got a smack on the bum. (A very light smack). I could tell immediately who wasnt a parent as the snarls this lady got were horrific. They all were a bit confused (some probably mortified) when I said with a smile good work, now the police wont have to sort her out when shes 16. The lady just smiled at me, nodded and ignored the rest of the people there. It goes to show a positive attitude towards anything is always more appreciated than a bad one. Only a parent knows a childs limits before a simple light smack on the bum or wrist can change everything and turn everyones shopping experience around. To the mum, I congratulate you. To all the snarlers, I would like to remind you of one thing parental discipline is not illegal and should never be frowned upon.
