I seen an old friend today...this story needs reposting if you will indulge me...... I thought my problems were insurmountable, until I met my new friend Robert(Bobby)...his speech is not eloquent...his mannerisms and body movements are not perfection in motion...he sat and listened as I rambled on about my dreams, aspirations, accomplishments, and failures that have been the totality of my life...he smiled and nodded his head as an attentive friend would...when I had finished with my self important and impressive lecture, I asked Bobby, what are your dreams and aspirations? He looked at me smiling and said...When I get through watering these plants, and washing the sidewalk off for the supermarket man...Im going home, mama is making my favorite supper tonight. Mister Harley, your life sounds so sad, would you like to come home with me and eat some of mamas pinto beans and mashed tators...? Never in my life have I felt so inept and so blessed...Bobbys innocence and genuine love brought tears to my eyes...God, thank you for the people you place in our daily path...hda
