I sense that many are at or nearing a crossroad (life is a series of crossroads). Its at the crossroads of life where we can choose one of four directions, if you arent allowing God to direct your path, YOU WILL CHOOSE THE WRONG PATH. Along one path is the BROAD WAY that the crowds are following and it seems to be the right path BECAUSE THATS WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS CHOOSING (or so it seems). Another path is to return (turn around and head back) where you came from. Sometimes that seems and may even be wise, but frequently, it is not the best choice. Another path is to choose the one that appears the smoothest, most fun or otherwise most desirable. (looks and appearances can be deceiving) Finally, another path looks lonely, desolate, untraveled or seldom traveled. Maybe a car turns down this path every now and then or every few days a stranger comes along on foot and chooses this path, but on appearance, it is clearly the least traveled of the four paths. In fact, it is also the narrowest--it doesnt need to be wide because there is a rush of folks to travel on it. THIS IS THE ONE JESUS INSTRUCTS US TO TAKE! Ill choose Jesus EVERY TIME! (see Matthew 7:13-14)
