I seriously WISH I could engage telepathic force to halt the drivers in charge of the cars that try to run cyclists over. Dude, we are both going the same direction, YOU still have plenty of room on your side to fit your oversized-gas-guzzling-mobile and are tucked inside like an armored truck. I am on a BIKE, therefore it shouldn’t take you causing an accident or injury to realize that you’re an ASS. (And to the driver behind you who goes by and tries to wag your finger at me like a child, check me out in your rear-view cause you ain’t the only one with a finger.) Now, I have to say that road rage itself is usually unproductive and soul-sucking. It’s cowards hiding inside their vehicles being disrespectful to each other on the road and putting lives at risk for the sake of getting three feet ahead in rush hour traffic. Dumb-dumb reason to spike cortisol. But I’ll say that bike rage is usually justified because the risk of accidents happening (due to either party) and a cyclist dying is NOT a joke. Cyclists should always stand up for themselves out there and call out A-holes who put lives at risk DAMMIT!
