I seriously in all honesty cannot imagine myself living in New England (during the winter) in years to come (hopefully sooner than later). My hubby agrees, as he has a very bad back and feels crippled most days. This winter took a toll on us both but I get really, really down as soon as the daylight savings hits and I never adjust to it or feel good. More fatigued than even normal. Ideally, Id love to stay here in the summer and have a small condo somewhere warm. I know Im probably dreaming unless I hit lotto or rob a bank but someday we will try to make it happen. At this point I will take a hut. I know many enjoy the change of seasons but I dont. I even dislike fall because I know whats ahead. And yes I know the humidity sucks the life from you, but at least there is AC and sunshine. The only thing I like about winter is looking at Christmas lights (I dont like Christmas though....bah humbug). So if I weigh the facts, Id say the cons definitely outweigh the pros as to Winters in New England. I wish I could find a foreclosure on a small 1-2 bedroom condo somewhere warm. Hubby requires a lake. Lol.... If anyone knows of something or could steer me to someone, let me know. You never know.
