I shall passionately offer permanent solutions to the current - TopicsExpress

I shall passionately offer permanent solutions to the current perennial Nairobi traffic Jams when i become an MP in 2017. But this will only bear fruits if Nairobians will get an effective and a visionary Governor - certainly not Kidero. Evans Kidero CAN NOT do it! My contribution to this important subject will be simple, let us remove all the PSVs from the CBD and build modern matatus termini and bus parks at the periphery. Come to think of it; A. ~ From the Nairobi River at the Riverside Bridge to the Equity Bank-Ngara then to the Hotel Southern Blue then to the Nairobi River again, the County has about 12 acres of idle land there. This land is more than enough for all the PSVs plying Thika Road, Juja Road, Forest Road, and even Waiyaki way. Then, Accra road would be broadened significantly and pavements leading to that ground built. Also, some County Buses to ferry interested people from that termini to the CBD are necessary. They will also help in raising the Countys revenue. B ~ The remaining Muthurua shacks should be flattened and provide a ground for all the PSVs plying along Jogoo Road and Lusaka Road. The County has more than 10 acres of idle land here. Special County Buses are also necessary to pick and drop those interested passengers to the CBD. C ~ Nairobi Railway Club is a big joke and should give way for a bus park. We have more than 15 acres of land there, sufficient to harbor all PSVs from Ngong Road, Langata Road and Mombasa Road. With these termini and bus parks, the County Governments will be able to collect maximum revenues without undue spillages. The County buses will aid significantly in collection or revenue to enable the County Government realize its obligations spanning from; security, street lighting, garbage collection, etc. Implementing these objectives doesnt require a lot of money. It is very possible with a thinking Governor. It is not rocket-science.
