I should clarify my previous (yesterday) post about my feelings - TopicsExpress

I should clarify my previous (yesterday) post about my feelings for St Pats Day. I AM proud to have Irish heritage. I AM all for a holiday that celebrates heritage and that was originally created in America to bring ppl of that same heritage together. I did enjoy celebrating it while a kid, one, because kids love every holiday, and two, I knew it meant time with my Grandma and all my Irish family. The things I do NOT like are : it being a DRUNK holiday (woo an excuse to drink and be an idiot... no thanks) and ppl associating Irish and Drunk as the same thing. Im also not all about celebrating a Catholic priest driving out the Pagans from their home-land. Cant we all just get along and practice our beliefs in peace? So, in conclusion, Ill just celebrate St Pats as I see fit, if I see fit, and Ill leave all those who want to celebrate it with drinking and pretending to have an awesome heritage to do so as well.
