I should have invited everyone to my house this weekend. Everyone. Since Friday, Ive cooked: 1. Smoked pork loin with a smoked plum sauce and honey feta cheese 2. Smoked Asian burger stuffed with wasabi cheese and duck sauce 3. Smoked Scotched eggs 4. Smoked buffalo chicken pot pie with smoked white cheddar and puff pastry 5. Smoked peppers of every sort and then some 6. Smoked pork butt turned into a stew with Christmas beans, roasted small potatoes, polenta, and all those smoked peppers 8. Smoked bacon-wrapped brown-sugared onion rings 9. Smoked Scotched prosciutto-wrapped and parmesan-stuffed kumato tomatoes 10. Smoked pepper compote 11. New potatoes roasted, smashed, covered with bacon, corn, scallions and french onion dip then baked again (it was a bangin ribeye side). 12. Honey and vindaloo smoked salmon which is now in little filo cups with boiled new potatoes, spring pea shoots, and a sauce made of vindaloo, mascarpone, milk, honey, and a bit of saphron salt.
