I should have posted this yesterday. But I am posting it now. Yesterday I had two shows. I skipped one to go to a slam hosted by Michael W. Bonds and support the feature Michaelle Saintil. SO at the beginning of the slam, there were only two poets, and at the last minute a third poet jumped in. Befoe that went down, The other poet and I agreed to slam hard and split the prize money. Well after the slam, the other poet won, and so I went to ask if he would split it three ways instead of two. He replied you should have asked that before the slam, since it was three, the deal was off. So is it me, or was this a dishonorable act? I felt it was simple becasue had I won, I would have split the money. Poets can I get your opinion on this? I wont treat the poet differently, but I will never go into agreenment with him again.
