I should possibly wait to post this until Michel Gondrys upcoming film Mood Indigo is released. But why wait!! I am intrigued by Gondrys ever deepening process. Audrey Tatou: This movie its so surrealistic, so full of ideas that I think that Michels brain was working non-stop 24 hours and he had maybe 150,000 ideas per day so we (the actors) were in a big storm of ideas - but he knew exactly and precisely what he wanted to do, so we were, in a way, completely lost - but - we knew that he would create something unusual. Michel Gondry: In movies you have all these actors acting and acting and then they go on a roller-coaster and their make all these faces and you know they are not acting anymore they are really feeling the moment and being scared so I think I tried to make every shot of this movie be like that so that the actors could not think of anything except from being themselves. Tatou: I think this is right because before the shooting I was thinking of my part thinking what I would do and how Id stress this word and the stress this word - but then it turned out that youd never know when the camera was shooting, it was shooting all the time and you never knew if it was shooting you, or someone else, and you are totally lost and so I thought - (flips the bird to Gondry) I thought - well I totally trust him.
