I should probably offer some form of update in regards to writing, as that is why most people Liked this page (some at the point of a cutlass, yaaarghhh). A Clockwork Zombie. My first novel has been returned by another publisher without interest. This, however, is a good thing. Thanks to the aid (suffering) of a recent proof reader (guinea pig) I have identified places where I can improve on the story. Im also slightly concerned that zombie drama is a saturated market currently. It wasnt so bad 2 years ago when I wrote the book, but has grown to be a lot more since. Despite being set in a 19th century Steampunk environment it may be an idea to keep it back so people can enjoy reading the tale with fresh eyes rather than tired ones. I shall ponder this in detail come next year because... Rainbows in the Grey. ...I currently plan to have the 1st draft of this book ready by January for my overseas talented chum of a writer to peruse. This book has been an up and down affair, one which has seen the return of depession, the most severe writers block Ive ever suffered and some other personal issues, yet somehow, some way, dragged itself through the mud to reach 110,000 words as of last night. With 6 weeks to go I remain confident the January deadline will be reached. Im happy to say that it still continues to surprise and delight me, so with some hard work I hope to create the same response in those who read it. Dead Cogs and Boomsticks. This book is ready in detailed 1st draft form. As the sequel to A Clockwork Zombie it possesses the luxury of time until the first book is released. Thats it for now. Hardly a detailed account, Ill grant you, but an update none-the-less.
