I shudder at the thought of heading down to the beach and having to strip down to the bare essentials. I think one can get away with it if you are going to be lying on a towel, uninterrupted, not moving a muscle whilst catching some rays and perfectly positioning your beach bag so the people alongside you dont catch a glimpse. BUT as a mother, you are constantly jumping up to attend to your childrens needs, squatting down to build sandcastles, having to do a not-so-elegant Baywatch prance to the shore to ensure your child doesnt topple over when a freak wave crashes over him. So it is time. I cannot blame the wobbles on baby fat any longer. My baby is now THREE! Cutting out wheat, gluten, milk and sugar from my diet is all good, but honestly, it doesnt mean Im not consuming calories! So, today is the day ... no more excuses. It is time to get fit, get toned, and feel comfortable in my clothes! I am passionate about running, but hubby leaves at the silly hour of 6am and gets home after dark, so I save that for weekends. So between making sandwiches and getting the boys dressed for school I started my week with a 25 minute Yoga session. Yoga is something I thought was mostly about stretching and breathing, but I have found a FANTASTIC online yoga instructor who focuses too on cardio, core and toning! I cant get enough!
