I simply must share...on my way home from work today I stop by the grocery store to get a few things for dinner and some other needed items. While the lady at the register is ringing up my purchases, Im fumbling through my purse to find my wallet. Without luck I realized that when I stopped to get gas prior to arriving at the grocery store I must have missed my purse and thrown my wallet onto the passenger seat. Very apologetically I told her that I would have to run to the car and get my wallet...I then turned to everyone behind me and told them I was sorry and that I will hurry as fast as I can! I then proceeded to slow jog through the store and a short sprint through the parking lot to the car...there it sat, my wallet. I grabbed it quickly and hurried back into the store. As I approached the register the lady behind me was paying for her Rotisserie Chicken (not sure why I noticed this). Anyway, she then turned to me, smiled and said have a good day...this all happen very quickly (almost a blur). Having card ready before getting to the register (trying to hurry), I reached out to hand the cashier my card to pay for my groceries...she just stood there and looked at me. I said heres my card, I need to pay for my groceries (at least $75-$80 worth)...she looked at me smiled and said, your groceries have been taken care of...I said seriously, she said yes. I then looked at her again and said really, she said yes the lady behind you paid for your groceries and said for you to have a good day. At this moment my eyes filled with tears, I looked at the cashier and then turned and looked at the other people waiting in line....again, through tear filled eyes I smiled and said, really. The cashier once again assured me that what she was saying was true. I looked at everyone one last time...smiled, shook my head, tears at this point rolling down my face and said God Bless her!!! I then assured everyone that I would pay it forward (something I completely believe in). Needless to say, Im still smiling. My soul was fed a little extra today. Id like to ask everyone...whether youre a praying person or if your just all about sending good vibes...please lift this lady up and ask God to bless her so that she can continue to be a blessing to others. Throw a little positive vibes her way. The world needs more people like this in the world. I pray we all walk in love and spread blessings wherever we go. I pray this women can feel in her heart how truly grateful I am.
