I sincerely believe the leadership of todays Democrat party does not reflect the values & desires of the average Joe-on-the-street Democrat in America today. Those at the top of the party --de Blasio, Hillary, Barack, Reid, etc.-- are Communistic. They are far closer to Alinsky and Ayers than registered Democrats in Peoria. I know Democrats. Lots of them. And to a person they are all America-loving, hard-working people focused on raising a family & basically minding their business. Few if any of them want to see gender neutrality introduced into their schools; they want an America with a strong national defense; they dont see America has having robbed the rest of the world & basically being an illegitimate superpower; they dont look at the rich with disdain & think to themselves, Those people are the reasons why everyone ELSE is struggling; and they certainly dont want government controlling more & more of their lives...dictating the size drink they may purchase, etc., etc. Tho probably few will (publicly) admit it, they are ideologically closer to a moderate Republican than Bill de Blasio or even Barack Obama - both of whom much, much farther to the ideological left than Main Street USA Democrats. A free people, I believe, do not desire SO much government and SO much control - no matter their voter registration card.
