I sit down in Starbucks this morning to find a homeless lady sitting behind me covered in plastic bags, papers etc. I think before I leave I am going to get a gift card and leave it for her. About 20 minutes later I see a young man (maybe 25-27) very gentle spirit walk over her and says excuse me She replies unless you are an employee here I dont want to talk to you go away. he says I just wanted to wish you a happy Thanksgiving and see if there was anything you needed. She says go away. He does. About 10 minutes later he returns with a pastry and a cup of coffee. She then says to him get away from me and stop harassing me, I told you to leave me alone and get away. I dont want to accept anything from a strange man or anyone. Get away from me and stop harassing me.. He once again walks away, as he did I told him thank you for his kindness.
