I sit here tears streaming down my face. I have read this Mothers plight as she watches her son slip away - another child losing his fight to cancer. WHAT ARE WE DOING? When is one child lost to this disease going to wake us up and that will be one child too many? There is efforts to make changes but we need your help. There is a lot of work to do but in warm and loving remembrance of Franky, Mason K, Brett, Becca and Laney and too many others lost - we need to change how research is funded but also how it is allocated and give hope to these children, these superheros, these cancer warriors as they fight. And we need to help these families when they need help the most. The ball is in your court. I see you post about the horrors of pediatric cancer or supporting a family, but can we count on you to join the fight? Cancer - I have not begun to fight and i have ALOT of allies, so hold on buttercup because it is going to be a ride... Chris.
