I spent 8 months chasing success and spent around $10,000 on different business opportunities and training courses and literally never made more than a few bucks ! I was completely lost for a while and came close to quitting on a number of occasions.. When you keep failing and spending all your spare time doing the same things that are showing no results and your constantly running up debt on your credit card and arguing with your loved ones because of your failures then after a while all that pain takes its toll and two things happen. 1) You throw in the towel... Give up on your dreams and go back to the original life and just decide to conform to a life of mediocrity 2) You take a step back and re-evaluate your situation and look to change what obviously wasnt working. I chose option 2 because my WHY was more important than the thoughts of going back to my old life that I hated. So I decided to FOCUS and to really work on a plan of action. I needed to follow the same blueprint for success that other winners were following and that meant getting serious about my business and being disciplined enough to stop wasting my time on activity that would not lead to results.. Once I started to FOCUS things started to change. Firstly I decided to find a partner to work with someone I could collaborate with and to help keep me focused on doing the right things, and then decided to stick with one strategy and learn how to get results with it before moving on to the next strategy. I also made a commitment to NOT jump around from business to business and to find something I genuinely felt offered real value and provided a solution to peoples problems. From that point onwards once I had made those changes and decided to FOCUS that was the turning point and then did I start to see results and to see more money coming in than was going out. I wasnt going to quit, quitting was not an option for me and it just took a period of reflection to think deeply about what I wanted and how I should go about doing things.. I believe if your failing in your business if your struggling to progress then your probably either in a state of constant distraction or your in s state of denial.. Its never to late to change what your doing when it comes to activity. Find the balance in your life between family life and business and when in business mode make sure you are being serious and FOCUSED on money making activities.. If you are new to the industry dont expect instant results because your not buying into a ready made business that pays you for your services or products on day one, because when you join a network marketing business you are in reality only joining an opportunity a vehicle that is static and waiting to be fuelled up and driven to destination success ! Your vehicle will need continual refuelling as the journey is a long one, but the destination is worth driving to, so just make sure you drive carefully avoid distractions on the road and always look to keep your engine which is YOU properly serviced. Life will throw obstacles in your way and you will get disheartened on your journey but just remember that everyone of those success stories started at the same place and each one had their own reasons for wanting a different life and they all went through struggles so your not alone ! Ive finally found my place in this industry and Im now helping others to have more success than they had previously had in there businesses and my vocation is to find ways to make the journey less bumpy and in particular newcomers to the industry.
