I spent all day at Salvation Army trying to get sum help with my rent situation and all they did was give me a number to call every morning to see if there is an opening in the shelter ! Ive called 211, family promise, community rebuilders to see if they could help and have gotten no where! My rent was due this morning and they were nice enough to give me an extension until Monday morn... I gave them the 75 dollars I had to my name I hae a 2 yr old and 9 month old ad no family or friends to help! Im not asking for money but I dnt know of anywhere else thatll help in this short of time. DHS emergency help takes 2 weeks to 3 months to process.
