I spent part of the morning making a few improvements to my UDS smoker. I added a 1 intake near the bottom of the barrel in addition to the three 3/4 intakes I already had. I also added an additional 1 exhaust to my Weber dome lid. Lastly, I made some improvements to my existing intakes to give them a little more clearance from the drum. Now Ive come up with one more improvement, inspired by an idea Ive seen of Larry Beercan Fischer, to give me a few more inches of clearance between my diffuser plate and the top of my charcoal basket. Gotta get ready to burn some poultry on Thursday.
