I spent the last three days at a retreat for missionaries and family in the beautiful smoky mountains of N.C, Many of the missionaries who pioneered the growth of Christianity in Korea after the Korean Conflict are walking and rejoicing on the other side and most at this reunion are in their twilight years...I found myself in a state of continual thankfulness and awe as I listened to stories of these missionaries. What a legacy they have left--not only for their children and grandchildren, but for the country of Korea, I also had the privilege of spending these days with my mom and my sister, we laughed, cried, remembered together and praised God together. What a joy it was to have this rare girl time. I was so involved in all the activities, I did not capture the beauty of the surroundings in picture. The setting was breathtaking. Between Gods creative masterpiece of nature and these most delightful creation--His anointed and blessed missionaries--I again say, why me? I attended a small school started by some of these missionaries. They took me into their fold,wrapping their arms of acceptance and nurture around me in the most vulnerable times of my life after my rescue from abandonment. To God be the glory. Great things He has done. So loved He the world, that He gave us His Son----
