I spent the morning going over my notes from this previous year. Never in my wildest imagination could I have seen what was in store. I think the one thing that stands out in my mind as being the most unexpected was the real friendships that would be forged. I knew I was going to meet a lot of people, but I wasnt expecting this. I mean, you always have favorite clubs and club owners and favorite staff, but to be invited into peoples LIVES the way we were is simply amazing. So many people stand out that my mind swims. The ones that got how this is so very much more than a comedy tour; yes it is the coming together to support small business owners across the country, but it is also to show that Faith really truly does work. It was Faith that built these businesses and keep them going month after month, and it is DEFinitely Faith that keeps Project Highway on the road. Not everyone gets what we are doing when they call us for information, but I have found the ones that do... real recognizes real, ya know? Big things are in store in the coming year, and big is all relative, thats what so exciting. This has gone way beyond what I first envisioned. This has grown into a family. Not everyone can say they have family in every single state. Not every small business can claim that they have warriors out on the road championing for them. But they are that for us, and we for them. I am proud of what I am doing, and more importantly, I am passionate about it. Passion is a force that until you have experienced it, cannot be explained. Thank you everyone for being a part of this in whatever capacity you have participated; the ones who like on our posts, the people on the highway that wave as they go by, the people that are in the crowds show after show, the managers, the bartenders, the owners. Project Highway has grown from two people to hundreds. That is amazing. THAT is what Faith can do.
