I spent today researching Quakers, especially the Quakers in North Carolina. Last week, I was researching my nieces husbands line and found that his fathers line can be traced back to a Lamb in NC! This meant that Jenny and Kyle share the same 7th great grandfather. This is a million-in-one coincidence because Kyles fathers family is from California! How did a Lamb meet and marry a man in Indiana and how did they end up in California? Why did his Lamb leave NC while our Lamb line stayed in NC? This shared great grandfather came from a Quaker family. I thought that might be a clue so I researched today. Here is my blog post on it. This will be interesting to Kyle Hauser, Matt Naomi Hauser, Marc John Hauser, Craig N Katalin Martin, Chris Hauser, Ted Hauser to see why your line traveled West. For my line, it should interest Jenny Harris Hauser, Elaine Harris, Melinda Huneycutt McMillion, Eleanor Huneycutt, Lee McMillion, Luke Harris, David Reese, Janis Reese, Kathryn Reese Britt, Vicki Adams Patranc, Stephanie Smith Teague to understand how we stayed in NC. I dont share this because I admire the Quaker religion. They have some good characteristics but I dont believe in their tenets. The Lambs in our line became mostly Baptist in the 1800s. I dont know about the ones that moved West, at least not yet.
