I spoke some weeks back about the Saint Charles Parish president commissioning me to do a life bronzed bust of The late Judge Edward Dufrense. After my meeting with the parish and staff of about 15 in whom I have the names of each present at the meetings name. Meetings with family of the late Judge and Vj St.Pierre the parish president I carefully and professionally presented my vision, detailed design, placement and style of the portraits location. Moneys donated by the former parish president Mr Lackey, several residents and business owners donated solely because of my success on the Hannan bust presented by way of the Times Picayune New Orleans, Destrehan Daily, Abc News, Hammond daily star and several other media outlets. The day was August 12, 2012 when my debut of the bust of Hannan was presented publicly. That night I received a call while sitting for coffee with a prominent businessman and over speaker the anger, jealously and rage of my spread in the paper came spewing out of the other end of the phone. Mocking myself, my work and Archbishop Aymond for being so ignorant to choose a self taught sculptor and there goes the publics opinion of Abp Aymond. Wow! With witness hearing we could only think maybe hes drunk ? Well maybe just angry his photo wasnt plastered in his town. Thereafter I heard no other word and found after plagiarizing the entire project from the idea to the design hired another artist and the money received by those in community that wanted my work as the artist had no idea the unveiling of the statue wasnt mine. This us when I got word and also found in a statement by Vj St. Pierre... when I thought of honoring the late Judge my heart was moved to tears and the unveiling was quite emotional. I think the emotional part was hoping my sponsors wouldnt find out. All legal paper, photos, and written documents agreed by Vj St. Pierre are in hand pending plagiaristic investigation and due process upon lawful action. I am a fair artist...he didnt cheat me but the parish citizens of St. Charles and its god loving peoples. Whats next? The Lord fights my battles and I just sit back just as the corruption with the exception of the soundbite lie about Judge Michelle Morel. You see more is to be revealed and the political battle isnt ours to concern ourselves with. Truth , Justice and The American way always proves whos really up to the very audacity of committing plagiarism as a trusted official. As honesty remains still dishonesty gets shaken. The waves begin to rock the boat and all guilty holders of power are ...well not gonna sleep well...what plotted in the dark always...always are revealed in the light. And truth be told...the lights are an eternal flame lit by truth by people like Judge Michelle Morel ~ ironically shes up for re election and this administration is trying to discredit her.
