I spoke up yesterday alongside other Welsh Labour MPs for the workers in our Welsh steel industry and across the UK who are facing an increasingly un-level playing field. The Tory / Lib Dem government is simply not acting urgently or decisively enough to support this crucial industry - with serious risks for our economy and infrastructure supply chain. I was delighted to meet management and employees from Celsa in Cardiff and Community trade union reps who came from all over the UK to see the debate and stand up for steel.
