I spoke with a vet today in Egypt who had a puppy with a leg injury .... There was some question on how he should proceed with the treatment and care of the puppy ... (I know its confusing and hard to understand when you hear vet but the vets there do not have the same level of education when it comes to medical care nor do they have the same resources tools and so on) .. He was very open to listening to suggestions and advice and very responsive to what I had to say... small steps but even small steps are huge in this process.. He didnt just toss the puppy on the street or leave him to suffer .. He went thru with the amputation of the pups leg due to infection and the extreme breaks and even sent photos when done... Also keep in mind it was 2 AM there at this time and he didnt wait to treat the pup and instead stayed to take care of him. .. one step at a time One day at a time .. we are seeing some good come from all this. .. slowly but surely we are building relationships ... changing ideas.. and building trust..
