I squat, bench, deadlift, clean, press, run, bike, skate, jump plyos and train everyday twice a day. I take 15,000 steps a day and have enough energy to keep up with my 3 boys and the 6 hockey teams I train every winter. Im not skinny and I eat food...lots of clean healthy food. Im not classy in a pair of heels but Ill kick your ass in a pair of sneakers any day. I hate shopping for dresses because my butts too big and my shoulders are too broad. The only pair of pair that fit me properly are a pair of leggings. My man loves me just the way I am and even more on Saturdays when he kicks my ass in a tennis match! My boys think Im the coolest mom because I will challenge them to any sport imaginable. Im 33 and still a great athlete but yet I still struggle with my own body issues no matter how healthy or active I am and have a hard time accepting that I am what I am. Why are we as women so insanely critical and cruel to ourselves? WHY can we not see what the rest of the world sees?
