I started a home based a business in January 2013. A MLM. Direct sales. Pyramid scheme. You can call it whatever you want to call it. That doesnt affect me. And really isnt important. What IS important to me is that you understand why I did it. I had lost my sense of self. I love being a mom and wife but had no sense of identity. I was going through the motions and feeling empty at the end of the day. I was going to a job where I was giving all of myself with it never being enough at the end of the day. I would come home mentally exhausted and just go through the motions of cooking supper, giving Teah a bath or playing with her and then she was off to bed. I was getting maybe a couple hours a day with her. Someone else was raising my daughter, getting to enjoy those first moments of certain milestones. So in August, I took a leap of faith and quit my job so I could be home with Teah. No we couldn’t really afford for me to do this, but I knew we would figure it out as long as we kept faith. I did this for her because when you are a parent, your kids will make you do things you never would have considered doing when it was just you. I was never interested in direct sales prior to becoming a mom. NEVER. No thank you. I was always too wrapped up in what others would think. And there it is. What would people think? But see when youre a Mom. And you are charged with providing a future for a child. A future that is better than your own. A future that is filled with faith, hope and purpose and dreams and passion for life. You start to not care what people think about how you do it. And thats where I sit today. Doing work that I love, and being my own boss. If I owned a dry cleaner I would be asking all of my friends and family to please bring me your dirty clothes. If I owned an event planning business...I sure would be asking to plan your babys birthday party. My It Works business is no different than the examples above. I have a health and wellness business. Its super successful. Want to get healthy? I can help. Want to look amazing at your upcoming high school reunion or wedding? I can help! Want to repair the damage your tiny little bundle of joy did to your body? Im your girl. Want to pay off some debt or start a college fund for your kids. I got you covered there too. Im going to continue to post about my business on Facebook...all the time. Yes my team is going to tag me in a bunch of inspirational quote pictures...because we love this business and what it is doing in our lives. If you want to join me...do it. You wont regret it. If you dont...dont. I am going to live this ONE life I have been given the way I want to. I hope I can empower and inspire you all to do the same. Living the life God intended and I owe it to him to follow His plan. Love you all!!
