I started teaching my son the “Time Tables” in both (Multiplication & Division forms) from the age of 3yrs. I started say it to him in a “Sing-Song tone” in the car while on trips to and from the store or the city as just “something to do” After a couple times I would “invite” him to join me, (because of the “sing-song” tone) this made it easy for him to learn. Common Core! A piece of cake. My son was nominated by his teacher to attend the National Young Scholar Program by his teacher and managed to maintain “High Honor Roll” for the past few years while attending Dance Academy doing Tap & Hip-Hop classes and still finds time for sports and to PLAY. Awards: Perfect Attendance, Student of the Month, Certificate of Character, High Honor Roll & the President’s Education Award Program in recognition of “Outstanding Academic Performance” Let’s not limit or underestimate our kids they can learn at any age.
