I started the day loving IKEA. (Wow! Look at all this cool, sleek stuff!) After an hour or so, though, I felt like I was on some low-grade acid... intense and bizarre, but not altogether unpleasant. Another hour passes and Im a rat in a maze with really expensive cheese. By the time I arrive at the loading area, a dark cloud is descending, heralding the impending meat grinder/pressure cooker of the checkout lanes. Finally, its over, I think. Nope. Not yet. On to furniture pickup for the last two items. Which is kind of like waiting for a delayed flight or standing in line at the DMV. Will I make it out alive, sanity intact? Stay tuned!
