I started thinking about the phrase "Im the luckiest man in the world." and at first, I thought of the generic reasons someone would say that to themseves- the most common would be when referencing their spouse. I thought of Chelsea Gipson and how lucky I was to have her, but still felt as though being "the luckiest man in the world" would be a 1 in 7 billion exaggeration. But I decided to scope out and look at the bigger picture... out of 4,500,000,000 years and 180 billion humans to have lived and died thus far and 7 billlion to be alive today I have the one and only Chelsea Rose. Of all the planets to live on she is on mine. Of all the generations to be birthed in, she is my age. Of all the methods to be raised she became herslf. Of all the chances she could have died, she survived. Of all the disabilities and deformities she could have had she is healthy and wise. As I keep considering the possible futures the odds truly become 1:~∞. I really am the luckiest man in the world to experience and share the life with her. We are all the luckiest person alive so long as we create a life for ourselves that is truly unique.
