I started thinking this morning about my life. Would i have been better off if my first girlfriend , who was the love of my life, had stayed with me just for the sake of our kids or am I better off that she walked out? Talked to another guy this morning who was in a fake for the kids relationship for almost 20 years and hes kicking himself now. He says im the one who ended up in the better situation being left with three young kids to raise myself because at least i was available to get involved with someone who may have really loved me. The down side i told him was i have kids who resent their mother. The upside is they seem to have a certain degree of loyalty and respect for ME. I dont know. I guess when a relationship falls apart when young kids are involved that theres no good end result for ANYONE involved. Why does life have to be so complicated?
