I started to install and run cable to the spare room today. Got done at 7. I had to make several trips to Radio Shack. They sold me the wrong things. Wow. Found out there was a 25 or 50 foot cord to attach to the tv and the input in the cable hole. Wow. Had to restring it all then. I had bought 2 12 foot cables and a connector. Well the connecter was wrong... so a trip to R.S....The connect was to an S audio cable. I did not buy a audio cable. I was even directed to another Radio Shack so I went there and they did not have the right connector. Then the battery for the phone was wrong the girl there yesterday sold me the wrong one so another trip to R.S... The last trip they sold me the wrong connecter so I took it back with one of the 12 foot cable cords to show them what I needed. I had bought the 12 foot cable the day before. So.... I would think they would have sold me the right connector to connect both cables. Well the last trip I went in there and said all i need is to connect the cable cord (I took the one with me to show him) to a tv and the other end to the cable input. Then the guy told me well we sell 25 and 50 foot cable cords and then you will not have to connect 2 of the 12 foot long cable cords. He said simple. LOL!!! I said nothing except well I hope I do not have to come back and this is all I need. Then he said well you do have to come back but you will be receiving a refund and your money back. I think he was trying to make me feel better. LOL!!! Not sure. He was nice. So the battery for the phone is recharging againa. I hope is just the battery. I will wait to be sure. We may need a new phone. This one is really old. Not sure maybe ten years or more. Maybe 15. So I will wait and make one more trip for a refund with the two cable cords and the battery. If it is the phone I need to go to a store and buy another one. As I left R.S. I wondered if I was on Candid Camera. LOL!!! I had an eventful filled day. Good news is I tested the cable I installed and it works!!!! Now I have cable in the spare room. I have a little tv that we use on the deck so will use that. If there was ever a day that would try my patience it was today with Radio Shack. I wish they knew how to sell what the customer needs.
