I stay very close to slum. Sometimes I run out of my medicines for pain and I have to buy from a medical store near by the slum and to my apartment. Everytime I go to buy, I see hungry homeless people sitting on the pavement. I buy my meds and few food items for them. This is like a norm for me. Even though the slum aint safe, these people know me so well now that they almost act like my bodyguards. There are times when in middle of night, I wake up hungry and to my relief, theres food in the fridge.
