I stayed because of these reasons. I thought it was my duty to be a good Christian wife and to accept what was being done to me. When I got counseling and realized that I had actually hurt my children by staying and myself also, I left. I consider myself lucky to have escaped with the little damage that I had done to myself and my kids. I will always regret what I did by exposing them to this way of life. And regret that I felt so bad about myself not to get out sooner. I finally found a man, a real man, one that treated me like a queen, my only regret here is that we didnt get to spend more time together before he was called home to heaven. I pray that all of you women see what you are doing to yourselves and get out while you still can.
