She/ he shall receive all cost breakdowns (man-hours, materials etc) supplied by product groups are in accordance with specified standard format and adhere to governing procedures • To assist in compiling the set overhead contribution, profit, risk contingencies and other mark-ups in accordance with applicable BA guidelines. Controls Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities & Tasks: Tender Stage: • Prepare the technical content of fixed price bids, budgetary bids and studies including clarification to technical tenders in relation to Controls SCMs and mechanical assemblies • Includes generating SCM Top Level Assemblies/Data sheets in conjunction with a Draughtsman • Prepare responses to bid clarifications from clients, coordinating the input of other as required • Attend bid clarification meetings, assisting Lead Engineer / Tender Engineer with responses to technical queries raised • Perform and manage any study work received by the department Project Stage • Assist Project Managers and Lead Engineers in providing technical SCM solutions to match the basis of design and system requirements • Ensure that the SCM/mechanical assemblies are designed and implemented in compliance with accepted bid and company standards • Ability to supervise and support other SCM engineers and draughtsmen as required working on SCMs and mechanical assemblies • To ensure that each of the technical area of the SCM design and documentation are completed in a timely manner to ensure the execution of the project to schedule and to budget • To provide control of changes through the courses of the project • Ensure that the Company Solutions Project Execution Model Execution (PEM) is correctly utilised on the work scope • Ensure that all changes at are properly reviewed including design review and relevant PEM gate reviews • Providing engineering support to supply chain and manufacturing departments during all stages procurement, Assembly and test • Working with the company HSE culture to promote best safe working practices by example Qualifications / Personal Attributes: • Degree/HND/HNC in related discipline or equivalent knowledge of specialist area of Subsea Controls Systems • Understanding of Mechanical/hydraulic systems • Specialised and in depth experience and knowledge of SCM design and implementation • 5-7 year’s relevant experience in Controls as a Mechanical / hydraulic and electrical system engineer • Should have experience of working/supervising and SCM/Mechanical engineers and working with Clients • Must have a good working experience of SAP • Should have experience working with Clients teams and Company Project teams • Must have an attitude that will get after problems until resolution and able to motivate others ....................................... 4.
