I still have not heard from Penn Foundation at all. Thats the facility where I received mental health services as a child. I cant say Im surprised, since its been how many years, and professionals have to be guarded about patient information, though I doubt they still have anything on record regarding my care. I will say my disappointment is growing in spite of saying I would be okay with no response. Be that as it may, memories are surfacing on their own and slowly filling in the gaps. Some are quite detailed, as if I just had an appointment yesterday, but they are brief flashes. Im now feeling divided, as part of me wants the truth, and part of me fears what that might mean. From what I can recall up to now, I was very unresponsive and unwilling to engage in conversation, especially as I entered my older child years. This is more important of a step in my healing than I anticipated, and its excruciatingly taking place in slow motion.
