I still remember what friendship meant to me when I was in school, it meant offering my other slice of bread because my friend did not have lunch, it meant helping her with something she did not understand in class, it meant making her feel good when she was teased or bullied and for further solace we would cry together and laugh thereafter. At that time we never required anything back from each other we were more eager to just share and share some more, we fought almost every second day but never held a grudge we loved each other more after every fight and my highlight, when someone tried to talk bad about her to me and vice versa there would be war as no one talks badly about my friend! However today its all about who you are, where you stay, what you drive and what am I getting if I help you with something or even worse what I can achieve by being in your circle of friends. Sad I tell you, very sad! Lets go back to the basics people!!!
