I still vividly remember interviewing Chris for an engineering role at Facebook back in 2005, right down to the room that we were in. Its rare to have a 45min conversation with someone that spans engineering, philosophy, artificial intelligence and music. But even more than that, what really stood out was how deeply empathetic and connected Chris was to everything and everyone around him. Looking back, its obvious that he would deeply understand what it would take to make all of us more open and connected. It was a privilege to work alongside him at Facebook to build products that have made a big impact on the world. Its also a privilege to jam with him on how to build a great engineering and product culture here at Dropbox. Couldnt be prouder and happier for someone who I respect deeply.
