I stood at the graveside of a dear friend today and said goodbye for the last time. A good man, taken in a instant. Jim Linehan meant a great deal to me as he did to many others. A friendship above and beyond our professional lives, the time passed without notice. Over the years, our losses, our achievements, our success and failures shared in many heartfelt conversations. He would listen to me rant, I would not let him carry things, he would ask about Jeremy, I would ask about the grandchildren. All things said this gentleman was a class act and those of this world who called him friend are better for having known him. Thank you Jim for all the lessons, go in peace my friend.
