I stood in the middle of the Temple this evening, hands folded and offering what little I had with me in order to find what I thought Id lost. I waited for the crash or the cracking in the earth, or the sheets of rain. And...nothing. So, I stood, humbled and wide eyed as we all took breaths together and bled together and wished and hoped and dreamed together. I was taken and I was lead. I was guided and I was moved to tears, gasping and holding on to whatever it was I thought I knew. And still, nothing. No sign. No crash of time and space. No vision of Glory. As I stood in the middle of the Temple this evening, and the night air was thick with heat and incense and courage and gaiety and ease and weeping, and the bells chimed and the Guru chanted and the brilliance of a thousand lights lit up the Universe with a vibrancy that stretched into forever, I realized I was suddenly different than when I entered. I was more. I was bigger. But I had to take notice; for I believe I was supposed to breathe into it, not simply expect it. Sometimes miracles whisper.
