The next few weeks will be special for me as I am sure for many my age as Memorial Day and the 70th anniversary of the greatest invasion force the world has ever seen mark our calendars. This weekend I will get a chance to travel to Minneapolis and the Veterans Cemetery to put a marker on Moms grave, cuss at her a little for leaving too soon, and give a salute to Dave, (US Navy) with the same amount of cussing for the same reason. I will spend a moment walking the park Lady Thundar and I trained in and remember so many good times her and I shared.
